Who am I?

 Enric Ases

Actor, director and playwright, he has worked in companies as diverse as La Fura dels Baus, Tricicle, Teatre de Guerrilla or Malpelo.

He has been a member and co-founder of emblematic formations such as Zotal Teatre, Los Los and Los Dos Los, receiving numerous awards throughout his career. In 2019 he published 'Team stage creation. The animated circle', essay on methodologies of creative processes.

He currently combines his role as an actor with accompanying different and varied stage projects and teaches courses at the Girona University School (ERAM) and the Vic Theatre Institute.

In recent years he has specialized in advising on creative processes.

For more than 30 years I have had the immense fortune of participating in a large number of stage projects, most of them in groups.

At the beginning of my professional career, we were driven by intuition and a powerful visceral need without any kind of guide to guide us along the way, with the advantages and disadvantages that this could represent.

Interestingly, I have been able to verify that today, despite the experience accumulated in recent decades, companies that collectively tackle the creation of shows are at the same point as we were in the eighties: they do not have any methodological resources that facilitate their work.

Go ahead!

The intention is to make available to contemporary creators the experience accumulated during my life/professional career as well as that of so many other artists who have enjoyed (and sometimes suffered) these exciting and unique processes.

That is, providing tools that help companies find the magical balance between creative delirium and order, the middle ground between heaven and earth.

A teamwork that requires patience and a lot of courage.

Usually, I collaborate with a wide network of professionals  (scenographers, playwrights, choreographers, costume designers) who are invited to participate in the different projects according to their specific characteristics.

Throughout my career, I have received the following awards:
